Daughter of David and Annie (McClain) Baird. Wife of Martin Gorman. Mother of Catherine Hench, Mary Weaver, John, George and Ella Tanneyhill.

Altoona Mirror, 17 December 1917:

"Mrs. Anna Gorman, widow of Martin Gorman, died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of her son John, 112 E. Walnut avenue, of a complication of diseases. She had been in failing health for some time. Mrs. Gorman was born in this county, and was wedded nearly fifty years ago. She resided in this city since her marriage. Two sons, George of Roaring Spring, and John, of this city, survive, with a daughter, Mrs. G. Tanneyhill of Lakemont; two brothers, Frank Baird, of Rock Island, Ill, and John, of Topeka, Kan., fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was a member of the Newry Lutheran church."
