Robert D. Givan, 57, died last Monday, August 7, 1978, at Charm Cove Nursing Home in Denver, Colorado. He was born in Madison County on November 3, 1920, the son of R. Lloyd and Rose Sawyer Givan.
Mr. Givan spent most of his life in this county. He is survived by three brothers, Lyle of Aurora, Colo.; David of Littleton, Colo. and Louis of Winterset and a sister, Mrs. Rex (Rosalie) Haymond of Winterset. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mrs. Katherine Schrader and a brother, John Givan.
Funeral services for Robert Givan were conducted Friday, August 11 at 10:30 a.m. from Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with burial at Greenfield Cemetery. Rev. Byron Ayers of Winterset officiated.
