Diana Lynn Dagen Gerard, 40, of Colerain Township, Barton, Ohio, formerly of Rochester, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at her home.
Born Sept. 26, 1966, in Rochester, she was a daughter of Robert E. and Irma Allison Dagen, of New Sewickley Township. She was a homemaker and was formerly a nurse's aide with the Zelienople Passavant Retirement Center. She was a Protestant by faith.
Surviving are her husband of 13 years, Joseph A. Gerard; three stepsons, Joseph C. Gerard and Paul T. Gerard, both of New Castle, and Steven B. Gerard, at home; a sister and brother-in-law, Peggy A. Keaton and her husband Sean, Rochester; two nieces, Amani and Makena Keaton, both of Rochester; her mother-in-law, Martha A. Gerard, Ellwood City; her maternal grandmother, Lenora P. Allison, Madison, Ohio; beloved friend, Billie J. Curry, New Brighton; a brother-in-law and six sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert E. Sr. and Viola Mae Dagen; maternal grandfather, Wilbur L. Allison, and her father-in-law, Joseph C. Gerard.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME INC., 349 Adams St., Rochester, where a service will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Peggy Sur-Barkley of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Ellwood City, will officiate.
Cremated, Ashes given to family or friend.
