One of my emails from Pat dated April 20, 2007
Thank you for the e-mail. It's good to hear from you. I'm sorry to hear about your mother not doing so well. Read Matthew 10.1 and John 14.12......Don't forget Jeremiah 17.14.......
On a different note, I have been diagnosed with lung cancer. I 've just completed my radiation therapy and in a couple of weeks I 'll begin the chemo-therapy. Satan puts these diseases on us and God himself can remove them. But above all, may God's will be done in all things present and future. I would love to see you soon. Are you able to work with me on weddings any at all. I know you have your hands full but I thought I would ask anyway.
Again, it was good to hear from you and I look forward to seeing you soon.
