Tyler Fulcher, 69, died at the Stuart hospital Sunday morning from injuries received Saturday night when struck by an automobile driven by Edward Swiney of Fieldale.
Fulcher, who lived near the Patrick Springs railroad depot, was knocked some distance by Swineys' car. He was rushed to Stuart hospital, and he never regained consciousness.
Driver Swiney was brought here and lodged in Patrick county jail on a charge of manslaughter. Mr. Fulcher is survived by his wife and several children. Funeral services are being held from the late home today (Monday).

James Tyler Fulcher who came to a very unexpected death by automobile accident last Saturday night was buried at the Patrick Springs Methodist Church Monday. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Alverda Fulcher, one son, John Penn Fulcher, Patrick Springs and four daughters, Mrs. J. F. Harris and Mrs. Wm. Harris Jr. of Coretta, W. Va., and Mrs. J. L. East of Patrick Springs.
