GREENVILLE - Graveside services for George Walter Farr, 63, of Natchez, and formerly of Greenville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Leland-Stoneville Cemetery.
He died November 13, 2010, in Natchez. Burial will be under the direction of Boone-Wells Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mr. Farr grew up in Greenville and received his BA and MA in chemistry from Mississippi State University.
He is survived by his son George Farr Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif.; his mother, Alice Farr of Greenville; two brothers, Barry Farr of Charlottesville, Va. and Brian Farr of Charlotte, N.C.; and a sister, Celia Wood of Crystal Springs.
