Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 4 at Solt Funeral Home in Central City for Grover A. Farlee, 86, of Central City, who passed away Tuesday evening, August 31 in the Central City hospital after being hospitalized since August 6. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Palmer.
Mr. Farlee was born October 22, 1884 in Howard County to Martin and Sarah Farlee and moved to Greeley, Colorado as a young man. He married Emma Freeland on September 3, 1907, and they lived in Colorado until 1913 when they moved to Wolbach.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Inez King of Central City; a son, Earl of Inglewood, California and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and three sisters.
