Harden Eggleston, age 73, highly respected citizen and farmer of near Figsboro, passed away very suddenly Friday afternoon at his home. Death was due to a heart attack. Although having suffered attacks of this nature before, he had been enjoying apparently good health up to a few moments before death. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from Pleasant Grove Church, a short distance from his home. Interment was made in the church cemetery nearby. The pastor of the church was in charge.
Surviving is his wife and the following children: Irving, Clay, John, Charles and Coleman Eggleston; Mesdames Fletcher Stultz, Willie Keesee and Mamie Bouldin.
