John Doolan, 65, 416 North Fifth street, who had been confined to the Whitelaw sanitorium since February, died this noon. He was born in Manitowoc in 1880 and was educated in city schools. In 1909 he married Mary Pfeffer of this city, and the couple have made Manitowoc their home. Mr. Doolan has been a pressman at the Manitowoc Shipbuilding company for the past 40 years. He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Howard Fisher, city, and Helen and Florence, both at home; one son, Cpl. John W. Doolan who is stationed at Gulfport, Miss., one brother William, Two Rivers; three sisters, Mrs. Edward Hall, Green Bay, Mrs. John Manon, Superior, Mrs. John Stenger; Berkerly, Calif., and two grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced tomorrow.

Funeral services for John Doolan, 65, of 416 North Fifth street, who died yesterday, will be held at 8:30 a. m. Friday at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and at 9 o'clock at the Sacred Heart church, the Rev. L. M. Schorn, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Doolan, veteran employee of the Manitowoc Ship Building company, was a member of Company H of the Wisconsin National Guard for several years. He was also a member of the Holy Name society whose members will recite the rosary at the funeral home at 7:30 p. m. Thursday. The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 4:00 p.m. Thursday.
