Mrs. Dick was the former Della Iiams, daughter of Michael and Calista Iiams. She was born in Madison county April 9, 1877. Her entire life was spent in or near Winterset.
She was married to Frank Dick Feb. 28, 1894. They were the parents of eight children, one dying in infancy. Her husband died last fall.
Surviving are six sons, Floyd Dick, at home, Clarence and Gailen of Oakland, Calif., Stanley of Glendale, Calif., Earl of Cedar Rapids, and Miles of Burlington, and one daughter, Mrs. Veda Jessup who had been with her mother the last three years. She also leaves 23 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Iiams of Murray; and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Kirk of Lorimor and Mrs. Ivyl King of Denver.
