SPRINGFIELD - Anna Lucille Davis, 88, of Springfield died Friday, April 10, 2009, at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born September 12, 1920, in Springfield, the daughter of Otto and Ruth Orr Mau. She married Clarence E. Davis on August 1, 1942, in Auburn; he preceded her in death on March 16, 1999.

She taught school for over 30 years and retired with a master's degree in education.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Springfield.

Surviving are two sons, Derrel (wife, Monica) Davis of Springfield and Donald Davis of Greeley, CO; one daughter, Sharon (husband, Lou) DeLaby of Springfield; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Monday, April 13, 2009, at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn, where services will also be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, April 14, 2009, with Rev. Bob Swickard officiating. Burial in Auburn Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Springfield, Auburn United Methodist Church or A.P.L. Springfield.

Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn is in charge of arrangements.
