Nicholas Dahm, an old resident of Tippecanoe county, passed away last night shortly after 11 o'clock at his home on Concord Road, east of the city. Death resulted from a complication of diseases. Mr. Dahm was about eighty-four years old and was born in Germany. He came to this country when quite young and had been engaged in gardening for a number of years. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic church and was a devout Christian. He was also a member of St. Joseph's society. The deceased was a man of strong convictions and was held in high esteem by all who knew him. A widow and the following children survive: John Dahm and Mrs. Michael Miller, of Chicago; Peter Dahm, of Sullivan, Indiana, and Will Dahm, of this city. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
