Stephanie Babcock Drescher
On Feb. 24, 1978 Stephanie Nicole was born to Randy and Aquina Babcock in Phoenix, Ariz. She was later joined by sisters Andra, Sarah and Erica.
As a child she attended Wickenburg Christian Academy, and later graduated from Wickenburg High School. It was there that she would meet the love of her life and eventually marry Scott Drescher, the son of Tom and Sherry Hunt on March 11, 2000.
Scott and Stephanie loved to travel, towing the trailer behind their truck, and with Stephanie's love of photography she received from her grandpa Fred and Daddy, there were pictures a plenty.
God blessed Scott and Stephanie with two boys, Evan Scott born March 3, 2002 and Luke Thomas born October 17, 2004. Besides living in Wickenburg, Scott and Stephanie lived in Bend, Oregon and Prescott Valley as well.
Stephanie was ushered by angelic hosts into the presence of her Savior in the early morning hours of July 12, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer.
We sorrow and grieve, but not as those who have no hope, for all who have accepted Jesus as well as Lord and Savior, this is not "goodbye" but rather, "See you later Stephanie."
Family members left to finish the journey are her faithful and loving husband Scott; her two boys Evan and Luke; her mother and father Aquina and Randy; sisters Andra Mooney, Sarah Babcock and Erica Koester; paternal grandfather Fred and his wife Gertrude Babcock; maternal grandmother Joy Lewis; her father and mother-in-law Tom and Sherry Hunt; great-grandmother-in-law Virginia Lucero; grandmothers-in-law Clementina Anderson and Helen Hunt; brothers-in-law Eric, Darren, Travis, Corbin, Jerome and Jaise and sisters-in-law Jamie and Kelly, as well as a host of extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the love and support during this challenging season of their lives. It is what makes Wickenburg such a wonderful place to live.
