She was an employee of U.S. Steel for 26 years, retiring in 1969. She was a member of Local 1104 USA-CIO as well as the Golden Age Pension Club.
Mrs. Crisp was a charter member of Wesley United Methodist Church and served in many positions such as the recording secretary, and as a long standing choir member.
Mourning her death are her three sons, Willie J., Alphonce, and Warren, all of Lorain; two sisters, Mrs. Naomi Terrell, and Mrs. Ivory Jackson, both of Elyria, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; good friend and nurse Nancy Redman; and a host of relatives and friends.
Her husband preceded her in death, on December 31, 1972.
