Born the day after Valentines Day, in 1991, there was something wrong with her. She had a very rare genetic disorder, known as Smith Lemli-Opitz Syndrom (SLOS). She contracted pneumonia, as complications from the disorder. She died peacefully in the Nantucket Cottage Hospital, on April 27th, 1991.
She was buried in the burgess family plot in Prospect Hill Cemetery, after a short service, presided by Ricky Lewis, nantucket's funeral director.
