Born Aug. 12, 1946, in Martinsville, she was the daughter of Rex Hasler and G. Marie (Payne) Cook.
She was a 1964 graduate of Martinsville High School and retired Nov. 1, 2008, from Indiana University, where she worked in the clerical department for parking operations.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Paul Hazel of Bloomington; one son, Andy McClain of Indianapolis; her mother, of Martinsville; one brother, Rick Lester of Martinsville; one grandson, Paul Hazel IV; and one granddaughter, MacKenzie McClain.
She was preceded in death by her father and her stepfather, Alva Lester.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Costin Funeral Chapel in Martinsville, with Rev. Curtis Hurley officiating. Burial will be in Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery.
