Suggested edit: GUSSIE LEE CONNOR passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2002 in Houston, Texas at the age of 76. Mr. Connor was a veteran of the United States Army where he served during WWII. He was a former resident of Pasadena where he lived for 40 years and worked at Champion Paper Mill for 35 years. He is preceded in death by his sons; Larry Alan and Gregory Allen Connor. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years; Helen J. Connor, his son and wife; Jeffrey Lynn and Debbie Connor, his granddaughter; Rebecca Connor and a sister; Janice Roberts. A visitation will take place on Monday, May 13, at San Jacinto Funeral Home between 6-9 PM. A celebration of life service will take place on Tuesday, May 14, 2002 at San Jacinto Memorial Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Sam Waltman and Reverend Roland Hill officiating. Interment to follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.
