JOSEPH CLARK OBITUARY
Joseph Clark died at his home on the west side Wednesday morning, Oct 5, aged 87 years. Mr. Clark was one of the oldest settlers in this part of the county. He leaves three daughters to mourn his death, namely" Mrs. H. (Mary Jane Clark) Barrett, Mrs. Judah (Lucy A. Clark) Phillips of Emmet County, and Mrs. Webb (Helen L. Clark Bowman) Thomas of Spirit Lake. Funeral services will be held this afternoon.
Joseph Clark is buried in the East Side Cemetery, Estherville, Iowa

Joseph Clark, who settled in Emmett county along in the fifties, died at Estherville last week at the ripe age of 85 years. Mrs. Webb Thomas of this township was his daughter, and Mrs. Helen Ellis and Mrs. Crosby Warner were sisters. Uncle Jo. Clark was a man worthy of the friendship of good people. In recent years he was a great sufferer, and for him to die was gain.
