Mrs. Alice Adams, 91 of Cedar Bluff Road, Lafayette, died Thursday, November 27, 1997 at Macon County General Hospital. She was born September 16, 1906 in Macon County the daughter of the late George Washington Carter and Jennie Ladd Carter. She was married to R. A. Adams. He passed away April 21, 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Bluff Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Carr of Lebanon, TN and Shirley Faye Adams of Nashville, TN; one son, Willie Dean Adams of Lafayette; two half brothers, Clessie Hauskins and Kenneth Hauskins of Westmoreland; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted 1:p.m., Saturday, November 29, 1997 at the Alexander-Goad Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette with Bro. Kenneth Woodall officiating/ Burial in the Eulia Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roger Hauskins, Ricky Hauskins, Danny Hauskins, Bruce Carr, Barry Carr and David Hauskins.
