Stanley Campbell, 86, died at Pinecrest Rehabilitation Center in Delray Beach. He was born in Minneapolis and lived in Stuart for six years, coming from New York.

He served as a lieutenant commander in the Navy during World War II.

Before retirement, he was a school administrator in the Media School District in Pennsylvania. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Stuart.

Survivors include is his son, Dean Campbell; daughters, Gail Peterson, Tamara Decker and Amy Dillon; sister, Pearl Lien; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

SERVICES: Out-of-state arrangements are by Emerick Funeral Home in Clinton Park. Burial will be at Veterans National Cemetery in Saratoga Springs, NY. Local arrangements are by Martin Funeral Home and Crematory in Stuart. A guest book may be signed at heavencalled.com.
