Johnnie Cramer of Wickenburg died April 26 in Glendale, Ariz. He was 70.
Mr. Cramer was born June 26, 1928 in Central, N.M., and was raised in Camp Verde area. He had been a long-time resident of Wickenburg and worked for the Operating Engineers Union.
He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, where he earned 1 o/s Bar, UN Service Medal, ROK Pres Unit Cit and the Korean Service Medal and two Bronze Service Stars.
He will be loved and missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Marvin and Valerie Cramer; daughter and son-in-law Lynn and Dale Weckbacher Sr.; grandsons Dale Weckbacher Jr. and David Salsgiver; granddaughters Courtlyn Cramer and Annie Salsgiver; sisters Mary Coleman and her husband Buster, Katherine Walters, and Agnes Bailey; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret "Peggy" in 1996.
Funeral services were held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 1 at the Wickenburg Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Mike Abdollahzadeh officiating.
Intermit is at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.
