On January 27th and 28th, 2003, Amanda underwent a multi-visceral transplant. When her condition worsened, Amanda had another multi-visceral transplant on October 4th, 2003. After her second transplant, Amanda was unable to rebound and sadly left this earth on October 11, 2003 surrounded by her family and friends.
Amanda left behind her loving parents, Monica and Mike Buddemeyer, sisters Melissa and Samantha and a wonderful community that adored her. She will be missed always.
