Joseph Milton Bright 73, died at 8 a.m. Monday at his home in Doylestown township, Bucks county, after an illness of eight years. Born Aug. 31, 1874 in Bethlehem he was a son of the late David and Lydia Rinker Bright, a retired gardener and formerly resided at Zion Hill, Bucks County.
Surviving are two sons, Emmanuel J. Easton R. 4; And Raymond N., Bethlehem R. 4: a daughter , Mrs. Howard Lerch, Hellertown; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Four sisters, Mrs. Mary Weaver, Bingen; Mrs. Joseph Rothrock, Limeport; Mrs. Warren Gross and Edith Bright, Center Valley, and two brothers John Leithsville and Ira Center Valley also remain. - Easton Express Feb. 10, 1948

Funeral services for Joseph M. Bright formerly of Zion Hill, who died Monday, were held yesterday at the Templeton Funeral home, Hellertown. Rev. Herbert Hartman of the Mennonite Brethren in Christ church, Coopersburg, officiated.
Burial was in Durham cemetery with the following pallbearers; Forrest, Robert, Willard, and Wilbur Bright, Robert and Merritt Lerch and Timothy Rothrock
