Daniel Hanson Boyden enlisted on MAR 1862 CSA, Corporal, Carrington's Battery of Charlottesville Artillery. He saw plenty of action, including the Battle of Wilderness and returned home permanently 'shell-shocked'. He was an ordained Episcopal priest (Virgina Seminary, 1870) and he died of stomach cancer in 1871.
