Birth: 1886
Death: Apr. 3, 1949

Son of John Boddy & Melissa Amira Macomber.

Attended high school in Spencer High School and college at Morningside, Sioux City, Iowa.

Worked in cement construction at the Natchez Irrigation Dam. Built the family home for his mother at 5240 Brooklyn Ave, Seattle. Became a contractor and builder using that trade to supplement income after his first marriage to Flossie Webster and while starting a proseperous fruit ranch close to Wenatchee, Washington. After Flossie deserted, the courts assigned the kids to him. He kept the youngest with him and the other two older kids went to live with his sister Pearl and brother in law George McKercher. After a time married Olive Conkling to contract and build following a brief period on the Wanatchee fruit ranch.

Asthma overtook John and he suffered from it for 10 years before finally passing on quietly and peacfully Sunday, Apr 3, 1949.
