Funeral services were held Sunday, September 15, in the chapel of Gallant Funeral Home in Hazel Green, Ala., for Minnie Bell Hill of Hazel Green, who died Friday, September 13, 1991, in the Huntsville Hospital. She was 84.
L. E. Wright officiated. Burial followed in the Bevills Chapel Cemetery, Madison County, Ala., beside her late husband, Benton J. Hill, who died in 1986.
A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Lula B. Manley Bankston. She was a housewife and a member of the Antioch Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Arvie Nobles of New Market, Ala., and Sue Hapeman of Harrisonburg, Va.; three brothers, Marion Bankston of Huntsville, Ala., Hubbert Bankston of Dallas, Ga., and Bobby Bankston of Chicago, Ill.; a sister, Ileen Chapman of Columbia; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
