In a blink of an eye, Shawn was called home on June 23, 2016. For those of us who know him, it is difficult to comprehend the magnitude of how great of a loss this is for all of us. He is known for his extreme kindness, generosity, and always, at a drop of a hat, doing anything he could to help his friends, family and even strangers.

His sons, Jordan and Tristan, have lost an outstanding Father. The love and dedication he has for them has set the bar as to how high we should all strive to be good parents. Needless to say, he received these amazing qualities from his parents, Dave and Linda Ballard of New Virginia. He will be greatly missed by his brother Joey (Jenny) and their three children Evan, Grant and Kathryn; Bradley (Nicole) and their children Riley and Bennett and Darby (Stacey). He is also survived by his special niece, Samantha Bell and his grandmother, Helen Ballard.

The Family asks that you will come join them in celebrating Shawn's life at the Church Hall in St. Mary's on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 4:00-7:00pm with a time of sharing beginning at 6:00pm.
