Born on August 25, 1980, in San Antonio, Texas, she is the daughter of Craig (wife: Wanda) Adkins, of Laverkin, Utah and Angela Zimmerman, of Fowler.
She was a 1998 graduate of Jefferson High School and attended Ivy Tech.
Ashley loved making jewelry and reading. She really loved playing Webkins on the computer. Ashley was exceptional at writing poetry and drawing.
Surviving with her parents are two sisters, Kacie (fiancé: John Lynch) Adkins, of Lafayette and Alley Adkins, of Laverkin, Utah; step-brother, Austin Anderson; step-sister: Paige Anderson, both of Laverkin, Utah; and grandparents, Richard and Carol Koons, of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Stanley and Joanne Schick.
Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2012, with the service to follow at 7 p.m. at Hippensteel Funeral Home; Phillip Spottswood officiating.
