Wilbur Edwin Addy (Bus) was born May 16th, 1924 in Earlham, Iowa, the son of Manfred and Patrice Addy. He attended school in DeSoto.

He married the former Betty Kirkman on January 3, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska. After serving with the U. S. Army he and his family lived in and near Adel for 28 years.

While he and his wife resided here in Adel, they became charter members of the Faith Lutheran Church. Bus worked for the Waukee Farmers Co-op. He is preceded in death by his parents and by a baby daughter. Bus passed away on September 25, 1979.

He is survived by his wife Betty, his children Judy and John, his son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Cathy and by six grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
