Juanita Ann Alterman, a native Denverite and lifelong resident, passed away Jan. 8, 2012, in Denver. Rabbi Selwyn Franklin officiated at the Jan. 11 service at
BMH-BJ. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the
arrangements.

"Mom never had an unkind word to say about anyone," her children said. "She was
always willing to help everyone who asked.

"She was a friend to all, loved by all, and will be missed by all."

Juanita Zinn was born Jan. 20, 1924, in Denver. She graduated North High School and attended CU.

She married Leonard Alterman on Oct. 28, 1948. Mr. Alterman passed away on Feb. 6, 2009.

Mrs. Alterman worked for the Denver County Court, as a realtor for Ann Lampert Realty and a travel agent at TriPar.

She was active in NCJW, Hadassah, the Loup JCC and JFS.

Mrs. Alterman is survived by her children Buzz Alterman, Phil Alterman and Nancy Alterman, all of Denver; brother Don Zinn of Dallas; grandchildren Adrianna and Harris, both of Toronto and Bellie and Bailey of Denver; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Zelda and Paul Goldstein of Denver.

She was predeceased by her daughter Judy Rae Alterman on Feb. 4, 1978.
