ANDREW, Mrs. Marcia Arvilla – Mrs. J. W. Andrew died at her home in Geneva, Neb., March 6, 1917, aged 70 years, 3 months and 9 days. Marcia Arvilla Zerba was born in Indiana November 25, 1846. She moved with her parents to Wisconsin when about nine years of age. She was married to John W. Andrew January 5, 1868, in Lancaster, Wisconsin. They moved to Nebraska in 1871, living on a farm near Geneva until 1910, when they moved to Geneva, Where she had since made her home.

Her husband and six children survive her: Mrs. Lillie Thomas of Geneva, Ira Andrew of Halsey, Mrs. Clara Peterson of Geneva, Mrs. Alta Prefert of Belvidere, Mrs. Effie Johnson of Geneva and Miss Blanche Andrew of Geneva. She was a devoted wife and mother. She had lived a life of devotion to God from her childhood and as her family gathered round her death bed she charged them all to live true Christian life.
She had been ill for some time and had suffered greatly. The funeral takes place this afternoon at 2:30 from the United Brethren church in Geneva and will be conducted by Rev. E. R. Barber. Interment will be in the Geneva cemetery.
