Julia S. Coulter, 75, died January 14 at the Ratcliffe Rest Home, Laurens, after a lengthy illness. She was born March 13, 1889 in the town of Jefferson, daughter of Lewis and Mary (Colwell) Zeh. She was married to Herman James Coulter. He died Dec. 25, 1914.
She had lived for a long time in Oneonta and later in Albany. She was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church of Oneonta. Surviving are a son, William Coulter of R.D 3, Oneonta; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Naglitsch and Mrs. Gladys Van Ohlreig, both of Albany; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Peck of Sidney.

Private funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Hall Funeral Home, Delhi, with the Rev. David P. Wambaugh, Jr., officiating. Burial will be later in Bovina Center Cemetery. The family requests no flowers.
