Zampikos died at his home at 1001 Ralston at 12:30 a.m. yesterday after a heart attack. He was a native of Greece and came to Corpus Chrsti in 1938. He formerly operated the Naval Bus Terminal restaurant on Schatzel and Coney Island restaurant at Six Points. At the time of his death, he ran the lunch counter at Dale's Drug, 3225 Ayers.
Surviving are his wife, Anastasia; a son, Mitchell George of Lake Charles, La.; a daughter, Mrs. Mariam A. Psimaris of Corpus Christi and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the church.
