WALLINGFORD -- Funeral services for Edwin A. Zakrzewski were held Friday at 9 a.m. from the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford and at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church, Meriden. The Rev. Robert Roy celebrated the Mass of Christian burial. Interment with military honors was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
Pallbearers were his sons, Michael Zakrzewski, Robert Zakrzewski, Alan Zakrzewski; his nephews, David Martancik and Anthony Bonanzinga; and his friend, Joseph Borkowski.
Edwin A. Zakrzewski, 75, of Quigley Road, Wallingford, formerly of Farnes Road, Meriden, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999, in his home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Marion J. Yacavone Zakrzewski.

Edwin A. Zakrzewski, 75, of Quigley Road, formerly of Farnes Road in Meriden, died Dec. 14. He was the husband of Marion J. Yacavone Zakrzewski. Prior to retirement 10 years ago, Mr. Zakrzewski was the owner of Ed's Amoco in Meriden. He served in the Army. Besides his wife, he leaves sons, Edwin A. Zakrzewski Jr. of Wethersfield, Michael J. and Robert A. Zakrzewski of Meriden and Alan S. Zakrzewski of Wallingford; sisters, Mary Martancik, Marcella Regnier, Alice Bonazinga and Antoinette Zrykowski of Meriden; a brother, Raymond Zakrzewski of Meriden; and nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Helen Quigley, and a brother, Joseph Zakrzewski. - Wallingford Funeral Home
