SOUTH BEND - Clarence J. Zakrzewski, 61, of Mayflower Circle, died at 2:15 a.m. today in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mr. Zakrzewski an employee of the Torrington Co.

He was born Feb. 6, 1928, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On Oct. 25, 1952, in South Bend, he married Patricia Gadacz, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Diane Dankert of Mishawaka; two sons, James of New Carlisle and Thomas of South Bend; four grandchildren; and five brothers, William and Eugene, both of South Bend, Walter of Shipshewana, Edward of Bristol, and Stanley of New Carlisle. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of Polish National Alliance Lodge 3078.
