Stanley M. Zakrzewski

Stanley M. Zakrzewski, 69, of 1521 Fisher St., died early Sunday morning in his residence. He had been ill a year.
He was born in South Bend on September 21, 1892 and on August 11, 1917, married Stella Sosnowski in St Casimir's Catholic Church. Mr. Zakrzewski was a retired employee of St Mary's College. Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Irene Plonka, of South Bend; three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Liszewski and Mrs. Helen Zell, both of South Bend.
Friends may call after 7pm today in the St Joseph Funeral Chapel. Services will be at 10am Wednesday in St Casimir's Church with Rev. Bernard N. Niemier, CSC, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery. Mr. Zakrzewski was a member of Lottie A. Zell Garrison 146, Army & Navy Union. The rosary will be recited at 9pm Tuesday by members of the Holy Name Society and the Married Men's Club of St Casimir's.
