Born into Eternal Life January 31, 2014 at the age of 90. Of Omaha, formerly of Platte Center, NE. Beloved wife of the late David Murkison Jr. Loving mother of Arlene (Jim) Vickers, Joyce (Charles) Ring; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. Maxine served 2 years in the US Navy until the end of World War II as a WAVE. Member of Ralston American Legion Post 373, Disabled American Veteran's Auxiliary, lifetime member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Prayer Chain and St. Gerard's Circle, auxiliary member of Legion of Mary at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, member of Polish National Alliance #0639. Formerly employed by Eli Lilly. Preceded in death by parents, one brother and 7 sisters. VISITATION at Holy Ghost Church (52nd and Q) Friday beginning at 9am with Rosary Service 9:30am and MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL 10am, all at the church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Military honors by Ralston American Legion Post 373 Honor Guard. Memorials requested to Holy Ghost Church.
