THERESA ZANKLE
Mrs. George Zankle, 78, of 730 North 12th street, died this morning at
the Holy Family hospital, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral home and 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart church with the Rev. L.M. Schorn
officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
She was born Teresa Zeman in April, 1867, in the town of Franklin and in
1886 was married to George Zankle at Kellnersville. The couple settled in
Manitowoc in 1902. Her husband preceeded her in death 11 months ago.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Otto Klein, Mrs. John Gennrich and
Mrs. George Peterson of this city; three sons, Edmund, Edward and William
of this city. The couple had 13 grandchildren and eight grandchildren (sic).
The body will lie in state at the funeral home from Thursday noon until
the time of the services. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday
at the funeral home.
