Don Young, 45, a veteran lineman for the
Gulf Oil Corp. and an 18-year resident of
odessa, was electrocuted Sunday after-
noon while working on a power line near
Penwell.

Young was a World War II Army veteran was
was a member of the First United Church.
He was born Oct.15,1925, in Weatherford and
on Jan.24,1948 he married Mildred Holiman there.

Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. Tuesday in
the First methodist Church, with Dr. Orbib Turner,
pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial
Gardens, with the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home in
charge of arrangements.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald
Baker of 2513 Cumberland and Mrs. Vivian Robins
of 2707 Brentwood; three brothers, Van Young of
2311 North Tom Green, B. L. Young of 2505 North
Hancock and D. C. Young of 1508 North Hancock,
and three grandchildren.
