Cleve Young
On Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, our most cherished, Cleve Edgar Young of Saxon, died at the Charleston Area Medical Center, following a long illness. He was 64 years of age.
We, Cleve's family, want it to be known that Cleve accepted the Lord as his personal Savior on Thursday evening, Sept. 6th, 2012, and went home to be with Him, our Mom, Dad and friends.
Born December 21, 1947, at Saxon, he was the son of the late Edgar and Christie Cook Young. Cleve enjoyed reading, fishing and gardening.
Those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Danny Young Sr., and his wife, Debbie, of Saxon; his sister, Gail Fedukovich and her husband, Timmy, of Beckley; nephew, Danny Young Jr. and his wife, Jen; two nieces, Tina Eskins and her husband, Eric, and Emily Fedukovich; and a great-nephew, Eli Young.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11th, 2012, at 1 p.m. there will be a Service of Remembrance at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Andy Davis will be officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until the service hour at the mortuary. Cleve will be laid to rest in the Young Family Cemetery at Saxon. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the Hilltop Nursing Home and the Open Heart Recovery Unit at CAMC for the loving care they gave to Cleve and to the staff at Meltons, especially Bruce, for being so helping, kind and understanding.
