She was raised and educated in Utah, the census for 1900 shows Margaret is living with her family in Hoytsville Utah. She married George Buckmiller on August 5, 1918 in Seattle, King County, Washington. The 1920 US census shows that she and George are living in Butte, Montana where George is the advertising manager for The Symons Dry Goods Store. Their daughter Mary was born April 19, 1925. The family left Montana around 1936 re-locating to Phoenex, Arizona where they were co-owners of the Twin Barrel Drive-In until George died in 1949. After the death of her husband Margaret moved to California to be near her daughter Mary Lussenheide.
