Mr. Allen Owsley Young, age 87, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed on Sunday January 1, 2012 at the Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville, Kentucky. Survivors include his children, William O. "Billy" Young of Tucson, Arizona; Grant Young of Burkesville, Kentucky; Fayette "Doc" Young of Burkesville, Kentucky; Carol Dickens, of Burkesville, Kentucky; Helen Young of Clarksville, Tennessee; and Jean Allen Luckett of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; fourteen grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Allen Owsley Young will be held on Wednesday January 4, 2012 at 3:00 P.M in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky. Burial will follow in the Burkesville Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday January 3, 2012 until the funeral hour on Wednesday at Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky.
