Kathy was a fun-loving wife and mother. She and Claude loved to dance and never missed Gilbert Kautz and his Orchestra when they were in the area. She spent the days before the holidays making batches of fudge and divinity and hiding it only to try to sneak a piece herself to find that four kids had beat her to it. She never found a safe hiding place for it.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Claude Young; her second husband, Norman Tweedie; son, Robert (Bob) Young and her grandson, Michael Lin Holly, Sr.
She is survived by her children: Claudetta Theiss (Don); Bill Young (Barbara); and Sue Jackson (Galen), daughter-in-law, Virginia Young, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American in her memory.
Graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
