Marilyn was born August 9, 1939 in Winterset, IA. She was the daughter of Gene Dunn and Yvonne (Harrison) Slight.
Marilyn retired from Reynolds and Reynolds where she worked as a Personal Account Executive for many years. She had a love for horses, gardening, fishing trips, cooking and recent trips to her second home in AZ. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Bill (Dione) Young, Sandy Peck, Lori (Larry) Downs, Lesley (Joel) Gesaman; grandsons, Forrest, Tucker and Garrett Young and Brady and Luke Peck; longtime companion and best friend, Jerry Ayers and his children, Rhonda (Greg) Minnich, Ron (Jenifer) Ayers, Mike (Kelly) Ayers, Jason (Kandee) Ayers; grandchildren, Spencer (Sarah) Minnich, Wendy (Jason) Crabtree, Bri, Carter and Townsand Ayers, Landyn Ayers; and great granddaughter; Eva Minnich
