Mrs. Barber was born in Hohenwald, TN to the late Hillary Franklin York and Ruthie Lee Runions York. She worked as a custodian for the Lewis Co. Schools. Survivors include her husband, Coy Barber of Hohenwald; son, Carlton Johnson (Melinda) of Bon Aqua; daughters, Chanda Tharp (Mack) and Suzanne Richardson (Kevin) both of Hohenwald; brothers, William York (Sandy) of Hohenwald, Freddie York of Scottsville, KY, Tony York (Kim) and Bobby York both of Hohenwald; sisters, June Bell and Sandra Moon (Tommy) both of Hohenwald and Margie Ray (Fred) of Grand Prairie, TX; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Franklin York and by a sister, Martha Scott.
