Passed from her worldly life to eternal life with the Lord on November 13, 2013. She was born in Dallas, Texas on August 26, 1935 to Alvin & Lorrine Avrett. She is preceded in death by her parents, and son Billy Wayne York.
Left to cherish precious memories are her loving husband of 62 years Robert, daughters Debbie Cork and Gwen Christian & husband Kirk; son Tommy York & Debra White; daughter in law Beverly York; grandchildren James C. Ryder & wife Shayla, Tommy York Jr., Kasey Loban & husband Ryan, Lindsay Orr & husband Josh, Chase York and Shawn Cork; Great grandchildren Brooklyn and Phoenix Ryder, soon to arrive Kade Loban, Lainey Grace and Wyatt Orr and Corban Cork ; uncle Alan Avrett; sister Betty Daniels & husband Sonny and numerous nieces, nephews and other family loved ones.
She worked at Wynnewood Bank and retired in 1992 from Coca Cola Bottling Co. after 22 years of service.
BJ loved all her children, she enjoyed cooking, quilting, traveling, dancing and going to new places. She was very active in her church. She was one of the strongest people you'd ever meet. She brought great joy to many lives and she will be missed greatly.
The family will receive friends at a visitation 10:30am. Saturday November 16, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Tool. Funeral Service will be 12:00pm. Saturday November 16, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Tool, 1001 South Tool Dr. Tool, Texas. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Garden, Seagoville, Texas.
