Elizabeth Thurza "Bessie" (Yeisley) HILDRETH was born July 21, 1882 in Erie Township, Ottawa County, Ohio, one of six children born to William Henry YEISLEY and Sarah Saunders HALL. Bessie married January 2, 1903 in Ottawa County, Ohio, George DAVIS. But by 1910 they had divorced and at age 27 "Bessie", with her 6 year old daughter, Loretta DAVIS, was living at home in Erie Township with her parents.
