MATTHEW O. YEISLEY
Matthew 0. Yeisley, 46, of Winona, formerly of Alaska, died of cancer at his home on Monday, November 24, 2008. Mr. Yeisley was born on October 2, 1962, in Sanford, Florida, to John and Gloria Yeisley. He worked as an Air Traffic Controller for 20 years with the FAA/Lockheed Martin division. He also worked for Harris Corp. as a Senior Network Technician. He was an avid woodworker and HGTV Do-It- Yourselfer. He attended North Winona Baptist Church in Winona.
Mr. Yeisley was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Stephanye Clark.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Yeisley of Winona; grandchildren, Zachary and Jordan Clark of Winona; parents, John and Gloria Yeisley of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas; brothers, Mark Yeisley and his wife, Jamie; their daughter Molly, and her children, Kayla and Anthony, of Raleigh, North Carolina; and Timothy Yeisley and his wife, Becky, and their son, Adam, of Missouri; and his uncle, Peter Smith of Wichita, Kansas.
Services were held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1, at North Winona Baptist Church with Rev. Rusty Fair officiating. Oliver Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
