Funeral Services Held for Yokle Yegge at Akron Saturday

Akron Register-Tribune: Mrs. Anthony Huckert was called to Alpena, S.D.; last week by the death of her father, Yokle Charles Martin Yegge, who passed away December 13, 1926, at the advanced age of 84 years, of senility. Mr. Yegge was a native of Switzerland. He had resided at Alpena for many years.

Accompanied by a number of relatives, his remains were brought to Akron last Friday evening. A brief funeral service was conducted at the Huckert home Saturday by Rev. S.J. Wallace.

Interment was in Riverside cemetery beside a son, Charles Yegge, who died from injuries received in an auto accident in Sioux City a few years ago.

Mr. Yegge was a veteran of the Civil war and members of Hoschler post, American Legion, acted as pallbearers.
