Thelma Hazel Hahn, 83, of Roswell, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at her home.
She was born on March 8, 1922, in Forrest, to John and Josie Walker Yeates.
She married Kenneth Hahn on Nov. 11, 1939, in Clovis. She moved to Roswell in 2003. She was a teacher who taught special education at the school for the visually handicapped in Alamogordo. Family members said she was an artist and loved to paint.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a sister, Clara Yeates.
Survivors include a daughter, Janie Gosselin of Roswell; a brother, Travis Yeates of House; four sisters, Lucille Throgmorton, Ida Pearl Yeates, Beatrice Bassett Johnson, and Madie Krizan, all of Clovis; two grandchildren, Lisa Lentkowski and Brian Gosselin, both of Roswell.
Dale DeRaad and Richard May will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Plain Cemetery in Plain.
Pallbearers are her nephews.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
